Most floors aren't perfectly level. Traditional shims can shift over time as wood expands and contracts, putting stress on your cabinets — and especially on stone countertops. That's why every Hostetler cabinet installs on the EZ-Level system: adjustable metal levelers fastened directly to the cabinet box for a permanent, stable foundation.

Face-Frame vs. European Cabinetry

Face-Frame (Traditional American Style)
A solid wood frame is attached to the front of the cabinet box, with doors and drawers mounted to the frame. It's extremely strong, forgiving of imperfect walls or floors, and gives a classic, furniture-quality look — ideal for traditional, transitional, farmhouse, and many western Montana homes.
European / Frameless Style
Without a face frame, doors and drawers mount directly to the box sides for a full-overlay look. This creates cleaner, more modern lines, slightly more usable interior space, and tighter reveals — ideal for contemporary and minimalist kitchens.
